    Middle Pond or Yates Lake has won the vote for our March tournament lake. Tournament hours will be from daylight till 3. Have paperwork ready for Frankie at the ramp.

    It is the ramp just up from Yates dam.

    Get on I-65 S in Elmore County from AL-14 E
    8 min (3.9 mi)

    Follow I-65 S and I-85 N to AL-229 N in Macon County. Take exit 26 from I-85 N
    31 min (36.0 mi)

    Continue on AL-229 N to your destination in Elmore County
    18 min (11.8 mi)

    I'll be there. My first time seeing the lake. Are there any areas of the lake that you have to be extra careful running the boat? I have hot maps. Thanks guys.

    If you run north it gets very shallow in sight of the dam. shallow stumps on right side. be sure to watch your depth.

    Coming from Alex City, take highway 63, turn left on 229, left on 44 and then left on 30. Is this right. If so, I am planning to try and make it.
