    I say remove the plastic bowl piece and give it a try! Won't cost you anything if that works.
    If water splashes out, maybe cut a half-moon opening in the bowl that aligns under the handle piece to act as a baffle.
    Best if you could measure dissolved O2 and temp before/after so you know if you're getting any gains. I have no idea if there is any such thing as a cheap dissolved oxygen sensor though. But I'd think any venting is better than none at all.

    I need to see video proof of V-T2 vents, installed in boat, boat in wind tunnel, air-flow with fat inconsiderate co-angler standing on them.

    We will work on that!!! But this is just in from an independent study...

    V-T2's increase boat speed by 15 mph while reducing fuel consumption by 40%!!

    Yet, more powerful reasons to install them!!
