    Wow, I had no idea they were that rare now. I do like mine but after getting my Henry, I don't shoot it nearly as much. Guess I need to take it out more often.

    I always enjoy taking old guns & putting rounds through them.......I've been trying to get a Winchester 1906 (built in 1911) up & running so I can shoot it. It's a very old pump .22. Dad has a Marlin 39A from 56' I need to clean & make sure is OK to shoot as well.

    I have a Savage Mk II and have experience with a CZ 452. I also have 2 Ruger 10/22s. But since the op said he is only interested in bolt action, I will say the you cant go wrong with either the Savage or the CZ.
