    MonofilimentCopolymer Fishing line Choice?

When using in all freshwater fishing applications, ruling out Fluorocarbon line, I'd appreciate any input in what would be the best Monofilament / Copolymer fishing line to use on a baitcaster reel? In the past I have used the Berkley Big Game 10# line which I found good but a little stiff. Thanks guys!

P-Line CXX similar to big game. I buy bulk spools when they are on sale and re-spool often, and it is still much cheaper than Flouro.

McCoy Mean Green. Great co-poly and very manageable. Low memory too. You'll thank me later.

I'm either use Yo-Zuri Hybrid or P-Line CXX for co-poly and Seagar Senshi for mono.

My personal choice is Gamma line. Look it up....as an example, there 6lb. test breaks @ 13lbs.

For the last 6 years, I've used nothing but Izorline Platinum (green) anytime I need mono/co-polymer. I've never experienced a single problem with. Very manageable & STRONG!

I got a 3000yd spoil of Silver Thread Excalibur for $20 a few weeks ago and I like it.
Used plane cxx for years. Silver thread seems about the same.

Over the years I've used Stren, then Trilene, then Pline, all were good, but I made the switch to BPS Excel about 10 years ago and can't be happier.

Pline cxx is ultra strong, it just doesn't break with super knot strength

I have been really impressed with YoZuri Hybrid. Been using that line for many years and it is awesome....Very tough line. I use the 6, 8, 10, 12, and 15 with the 12 and 15 on baitcasting reels most often. I have also used it for a braid to line leader for dragging tubes.

Me too, price is right as well. I think it's just as good if not better than Flouroclear.
