Livewell issues
Hey guys I've got a 2000 model 520vx and recently just started having issues with my livewell. I noticed the other day that it wasn't filling up with water. I can hear the aerator running when I flip the switch but the livewells will never fill up passed hole where the water pumps in. I'm assuming that I need to replace the flow rite valve but before I dive into it I wanna get some advice

try this..turn on your livewells and go on reverse and see if that gets them going. Mine does what yours is doing and I go in reverse with them turn on and they fill up. Need to be primed or something.

Well, that's an issue right now as I only am able to use my trolling motor. My outboard is out of commission at the moment. I'm hoping that the prime is all it is.

I have done it with my trolling motor on high but mine is 101 lb thrust on an 18'8 boat so it moves..
