Having a million rules immediately makes you sound like a dink. The basic please treat the boat as if it was yours/kindly works fine. Wouldnt want me standing on the gelcoat with sandy shoes. It is nearly impossible nowadays to not offend people immediately- the best thing is to just relax and try and not let the little stuff get to you- if its a problem, try to address in a kind manner or you will be made out to be the villain to everyone else whomever fishes with.

If you can't put him on fish, then you can reimburse his entry fee.

I find if you don't carry a net and just let them know you are on your own it works out better for both of you. They look at you funny but then realize crap just got real. Plus saves on hurt feelings when someone misses or knocks a fish off with a net.
