    Mounting height for 8ft blades?

Hey guys, I have 2001 Sprint 297 pro. I've got the poles mounted loosely. How high should the bracket be to not drag the water when running? Right now they are setting at the lowest possible position.
    Thanks

    See the pics.

Your going to want to slide them all the way up or up until you hit that top bolt. Ya sure those are the correct brackets for your application? Those poles are on one hell of a rake..

I called power pole and they said I'm good to go as long as everything is clear. I may send them this pic and ask if they have a bracket that would work better than these.

I called and sent the pic to them. They said they dont make a bracket for such an extreme transom angle. They suggested I move the bracket clost to the transom and redrill to make them more perpendicular. I still have a question about the height. Should the bottom of the blade be above the cavitation plate?
