    Question 12.75 x 21P Prop

The 12.75 x 21P prop came on my RT188 115hp 4S. Are there advantages to going to SS prop?l

A lot less flex with stainless, better bite, better handling. Not a good choice if you fish a lot of rocky shallow bottoms. Ive read quite a few owners with your rig run a 19p Spitfire x7 or a 20p laser II with cup added.

I am running a laser 2 20 p and its cupped on a 115 pro x/s 2 stroke. I get 5400 rpm,47 mph loaded . When I sent it out to be cupped I put a 12.75 x 21 tin prop on I had from an old boat. I turned 6100 rpms but there was a lot of slipping and only 39 mph.

I have a 21p Solas SS prop on my 115 4s. Running 45mph loaded with a passenger @ 5800 rpm. I am looking for a 20p laser II right now, but this is fine for now. It will make a good spare.

My boat came with an X7 Spitfire 21p prop. It runs great and has the smoothest ride. 53 mph is the fastest she would run. Gotta run the jack plate up to squeeze out the RPM's. The SS prop is more durable and gets better performance.
