Asking for a friend. What is the best prop to pad height? He's in a 2014 Z8. Running a 26 Tempest plus, 250 Pro XS, not torque master LU. The last time out he was maxing out at 5300 rpm and 60mph. Where should it be?

Mines at 3.5 (stock) and stock 25 tempest plus 5950rpm at 76.2 when I'm low on fuel other wise like 70-71 at 5700
Is he getting lift? Maybe not full throttle? I don't think he should have a problem turning the 26p Tempest to 5800 RPMs

Trim position? I read not to over trim them but I find maxed out with my set up is the fastest

Davis? Anyways 3.5 inches below pad is a good start? If he is here in Texas have him get ahold of me.

Yea Davis, Was just with him at Bass Pro in Pearland. Thanks I'll pass along the word. I'm going to get with my buddy to determine where he's at.

If he changes to a Fury what pitch should he go or the 4 blade Fury?

Fury's are slightly stiffer so most likely a 25p, but don't expect a big change unless the current prop is really messed up.
