    Question 2005 Legend 21DCX Questions

Hey guys! I’m thinking about buying this boat. Unfortunately, I know nothing about boats, motors, etc. I want to know if anyone has heard of this model boat? I have tried to look this boat up with limited results. The boat specs are as followed:

    $24,995.00
    2005 Legend 21DCX - LJE01076F405
    2005 Yamaha VZ50TLRC HPDI - 60X L 1001386
    2004 EZ Loader TRLR - 1L8T1202341D10832

    INCLUDED OPTIONS IN THIS BOAT:
    - Hamby's Keel Guard
    - Spare Tire
    - Minn Kota 112# US2, 36V 52" Trolling Motor
    - Lowrance HDS7 on Ram Mount (BOW)
    - Lowrance LCX-27c Flush Mount (BOW)
    - Lowrance HDS10 on Ram Mount (CONSOLE)
    - Lowrance GPS Puck
    - Single Lever Pro-Trim
    - Manual 8" Hydro Dynamics Jackplate
    - 4 Blade Stainless Propeller
    - Transom Saver
    - 2 Fuel Tanks
    - ProMariner Pro Trounament 4 Bank Charger
    - (4) 29 Series Everstart Batteries
    - Yamaha Fuel Water Separator
    - Dual Console
    - Fulton F2 Trailer Winch and Jack
    - Trailer Shocks
    - LED Tail Lights
    - Yamaha Gauge Package
    - TWO BIKE SEATS, and ONE BUCKET SEAT

    Compression:
    Cylinder1 – 85
    Cylinder2 – 90
    Cylinder3 – 85
    Cylinder4 – 95
    Cylinder5 – 90
    Cylinder6 – 95

I have been told that these compressions are a tad low and that they should be around 110-115. Could these compressions become problematic in the future? Thank you.

Depends on how the compression test was run. Motor needs to be at operating temperature (warm). Throttle has to be wide open. There are FAQ's in the engine section here that tell you exactly how to safely check the compression on any motor and get accurate results. The above sound like a "cold" engine.
