1222xsv or chirp 93sv for panoptix?

If I get a garmin unit for panoptix only what should I get. I'm liking the cost of the 93sv chirp unit but I love 12" screens. Are they basically the exact same unit except for screen size? I'm also looking at the ps21 for sonar. I would put a transducer on my trolling motor as well but just for the down scan and maybe 2d. I have a lowrance hds12 gen3 for mapping and 2d sonar already.

There are lots of differences - mainly that the 1222 is far more capable. It has full networking capability for one thing and more power. About the only thing the 93 has that the 1222 does not is built in charts. You will have to buy charts on sd cards if you need mapping.
