Question 797 Flow-Rite Remote Drain Plug Info

    Seeking info on your install.
What length cable did you use?
Where did you install the remote switch?
Any issues during installation or use?
Would you do the same install again?

    Thanks

I talked to Joe about it before ,he wasn't to impressed with it.If the cable binds or something gets in the hole ,even the knob can break .You can call and talk to him about it.

I had the plugs in my legend and Phoenix and liked them.

Easy Peasy, just reach in and pull it after you get the fish out.

to give you some info the cables used are an 8 foot to the drivers livewell and a 10 foot to the passenger livewell, the remote switches are located under the shifter panel next to the drivers seat. charger has used this system for many years and yes unseen things can happen to break a remote switch or bind a cable. but you can open both switches up and stil use plugs in the livewells to stop and start the water flow .hope this was helpfull to you.

Thank you all for sharing your knowledge.
Maybe someday I will learn to ask a complete and clear question.
I left out one important word.
    HULL.
Some friends have the Flow Rite Hull drain plug.
Makes it nice when it’s cold, not getting down on your hands and knees, banging your head, to remove the hull plug after putting the boat on the trailer.
