    Ethernet question for helix units

Hey Fellas - in the process of getting my ultrex mounted and rigged and ran into a little hiccup. I have a helix 12 at the console and helix 9 at the bow that are networked via ethernet. My ultrex has i pilot link so where do I plug that into since the ethernet port is being occupied on the helix 9 where I'm trying to plug the link to?

Does anyone know my options here?

There's a reason I usually pay the experts..

    Thanks!

When you have more than 2 Ethernet devices you have to utilize a 5 port Ethernet switch. http://www.humminbird.com/Products/AS-ETH-5PXG/

You have 3 Ethernet components there. You need the 5 port switch.

Yes .... and each unit should be connected to it also.

Thanks Bob - Since the 5 port is under the console I'll need an extension cable. Is this the only cable I'll need to extend it - AS EC 20E

I don't have the Link, but I thought the I-pilot link came with an Ethernet cable.

I believe they come with an extension cable that plugs straight to the Ethernet switch or the head unit, at least the legacy Link systems do
