Differences between 2015 and 2017 FX21?

I'm looking at 2017 FX21LE's and I don't like any of the color packages. So if I buy one I'll special order a FX21 Select exactly the way I like it, with all the same options as the LE, but that costs thousands more than buying one of the LE packages.

So I found a dealer with a new, untitled and unused (not a demo) 2015 FX21LE. I don't care for the color, but I can get the boat in the $50's and the 2017 will be in the $70's, so maybe I can learn to like a color for $20k.

What I really want to know is what are all of the changes between a 2015 and a 2017 FX21LE?

The changes I can see are:

2017 has a single center locker up front instead of 2 smaller lockers. I don't care either way.

2017 has a step up between the floor and the front deck. Nice, but not a huge deal.

2017 moved the gas tank forward and went from dual tanks to a single tank. This is a big deal IMO because the dual tanks are a pain to deal with. Switching tanks, filling up from both sides of the boat, etc and moving the tank forward SHOULD make the boat ride better by moving all that weight forward.

Have I missed any other changes?

Both boats rigged with 2 power poles, HDS12 and HDS9, 250SHO, fiberglass fender trailer, etc.

Would you get a boat that you don't love the color, or search for a used boat, or drop the $70+ on the new special order boat? Just looking for some outside opinions.

What's the 15 color?

I think the 17 looks good but I like the 16 le colors better than the 17 le color options.

Sorry the '15 isn't a LE, it's maroon with black and white on it. Dark boat. I like a white boat.

I bet the 2015 has gen2 modles, the 17 will have gen 3 Lowrances. No carpet in rod lockers, single divided livewell in 2017 dual in 2015, windshield on 2017 designed to deflect more wind. Hull change on the 2017.

What about a 2017 base FX21 then buy shallow water anchors seperately?

I'd get what I wanted. If your gonna invest that much money, 50 or 70 then I'd definitely get what I wanted.
