I am purchasing a Solix for the bow and wanted to buy a transducer for the trolling motor to give me down imaging and 2 d sonar. I have looked at all the transducers listed on Hummingbird website and can not find anything that will do this. I am switching over from Lowrance and have the down image/sonar HD transducer on trolling motor now so I would like to replace with a comparitable unit.
Also is there a way to use the existing Lowrance transducer with the new Solix.

Don't see a SOLIX transducer for DI/2D listed yet. Just one for 2D sonar or MEGA SI with those model's specs.
The non-MEGA SI SOLIX may can use the same one as the ONIX sonar model can use since the 2D transducer is the same. Specs show both using the XNT 14 20 T.
No you cannot use a Lowrance HDI with a Humminbird.

Wayne I can't find it now but I read somewhere if you had a Lowrance puck in the hull you could leave it and use an adapter to connect it to a Hummingbird. Seems like it was referred to as a Motorguide adapter.
Anyone know about this.
