    Lower Unit oil

I was going to change my lower unit oil this weekend but everybody around me is out of the Yamaha marine gearcase lube. Is There anything comparable to it? Thank You.

I also posted this in the Skeeter board.

This stuff seems to work just fine. If you have an Academy around, they usually carry it. You will need 2 quarts.

Down here the Mercury/Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube is the standard all others are judged by.

    It is in my Yamahas.

I use Mystik in both of my boats. No issues so far, 10 years on one motor, 5 years on the other. Johnson on one, Yamaha on the other.
