i still can't drive
So i still aint learned to drive well enough to get her up to top speed. so since i run this speed most of the time, im wondering if i should go down in prop to get my rpms up a bit. this is with the yamaha 27 t1. what ya think?

What's your prop to pad? You're running a 200hp? I'm guessing you have a pretty slow holeshot unless you run incredibly light. You are over-propped for sure.

about 2.5 inches prop to pad. 2006 200 hpdi, 8 inch atlas jack plate. hole shot is as good as it was with the 25p since i added lithium batteries and got rid of the agm's

Have you tried your 25 recently since the switch to lithium batts? Is the 25 clean, free of nicks, etc and has cup added?
Do you have poles or talons hanging off the back at all?

no poles of any type. i have not tried a 25 in years. i was actually thinking of trying a 26

You're at 10.55% prop slip right now, but that 27 is might be too much prop on the top end for the motor even with the lighter weight setup depending on the max rpm's. I'm not familiar with Yamaha's, but what is the max RPM that motor should be turning, do you have the manual? If 5500 RPM is the max, you are pretty much dialed in just might want to have your prop worked.
