    Trim question

Not sure if this is the place for this question. Does anyone know if a 2000 Mercury 225 EFI has a trim limit while under way? I can only get mine trimmed just a little over half when underway.

They all have a limit that prevents you from getting into the "tilt" part of the trim/tilt range. I suppose if your trim sensor is maladjusted, you can reduce the available upper range travel unintentionally.

Please see the Forum Announcements, and be sure to provide the REQUIRED info when posting. Thanks!

Your 225 EFI (which may be a 3L model) would have a HYDRAULIC limit built into the system, as Joe described.
