    Both or neither. Having one without the other is kind of pointless IMO. But once you go hotfoot and protrim, you will never go back.

    Generally speaking yes to both. It's great to be able to control the boat without having to take your hands off the wheel. On your boat however id say you can probably pass on them both. When I replaced my protrim with one that had trim and jackplate I gave the one that came off to my buddy to put in his 18' fisher. I wouldn't have recommended he buy one but mine was going in the trash otherwise so it made sense.

    I really like having full control with both hands on the wheel all the time, even when trimming up. They are relatively cheap so I don't see any reason not to have them.

    Get a boat with a G2 on it and have both the hotfoot and hand throttle. Best of both worlds. And a 10 yr warranty. Love the blinker trim also.
