not positive but i did read that great lakes guys have had better luck with the z21 than the 9, not quite sure how but thats what they say

I'm close to you...I fish bago and the bay a lot...Z21 is a great rough water boat, hydraulic plate is a must on this hull for really big stuff to keep hooked up in my opinion.
Don't know how you catch fish on that damn Pewaukee edeering03, baffled me every time I'd been there!

I have yet to ride in a 21 but I own a 20 and that is an amazing rough water boat. Very happy with both the ride and speed.
