Needing some help on where to go and what baits to use for bass fishing the second week of April. Bringing my daughter down for spring break. I have never been on the lake but have been told it's a nice lake. I will be staying close to Indian creek boat ramp. What should I expect the water level to be?

Only fished it once, put in at the dam. Early spring, cold water, looked for sun baked / southern exposure banks. Carolina rigged green plastic. Buddy and I won the T. My only W.

Be sure to pack some crank baits and jigs, water level will likely be rising and you will need to take care and avoid floaters. But fishing should be good.

They start raising our lakes back up pretty steadily about the 3rd week of March. More than likely it will be 10-15 feet below full pool if we don't get any monsoons.
