    Humminbird 360 opinion please

I'm looking at adding a Humminbird 360. My Minn Kota Terrova requires a 3rd party mount by Cumberland Crappie. What are the thoughts on this? Is it better to go the deployment system at the additional cost? And is the 360 really worth the purchase?

Can't speak of the mount but that are you fishing for?

Is it worth it? it depends on how you are planning to use it, do you fish off the bow? cast all day? troll?

I love my 360 and wouldn't be without it. My favorite feature is targeting submerged structure in waters 15' and less. Our northern lakes often have fish cribs and the 360 is a great tool for targeting this type of structure.

I have a Terrova and stern mount, off my jack plate, 360. I would prefer the bow mount since for me that is where I use it while fishing. At the time I purchased the 3rd party mounts were new and unproven but today I think you are safe. I love my 360 but if purchasing now I would go with 360 bow mount and 3rd party mount. Actually I would wait since the 360 is woefully due for an upgrade and it would probably happen the day after I purchased which would totally piss me off. JMO
    Thanks Tim.

I have the Ulterra and the Cumberland Crappie contraption and it has worked good for me so far. To me a 360 is a MUST.
