    What prop do I need

I have a 20 foot sprint 207 DC pro tournament. Right now it has mercury tempest 3 blade 24 pitch only can get 60mph out of it. It has a 2002 mercury 200 efi? I've heard a 25 pitch will be better

The 207 is rated for 225 hp....so you are a little underpowered to begin with. I ran a 225 3.0 L carbed engine with a 24Raker and had good hole shot and ran in the mid to high 60's. With a 3.3L 225HO I ran a 26 Raker to 5700 rpms and clocked 74 mph but struggled with hole shot...Now I run a 26 Bravo 1 to 6000 rpms at 71 mph and great holeshot....I need a 27 Pitch.....the point I'm making is prop is VERY important....With a 200 I would consider a 23 or maybe even a 22 Bravo 1 4 blade with the 1" holes....But first let us know what rpms you're getting at WOT and your prop to pad measurement.

Im running about 5700 rpms at wide open throttle. Looking for a better holeshot. It does good until livewell has water and fish in it. What is prop to pad measurement

http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=62660 Here ya go. Mine would do good by myself but struggle with hole shot....the Bravo 1 has 4 1" holes to help it vent getting on plane. 24 or 25 Bravo1..
