Anyone been following their event today? Pretty cool pitting one of the top BASS pros against Chad Hoover. Mike fished out of his Hobie and Chad out of his ATAK at the Bienville Plantation in Florida.

Yup, Chad lost...no more beard! haha! I don't think his soon to be wife is happy about it...they are getting married at the Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship in 6 weeks!

Where can I see this? My buddy Mark Zacher (ZReel on here) got to fish with Ike a few years ago and he took my copy of Ike's book "Fishing on the Edge" with him and got it autographed. It says :To Roy....Never Give Up! on the inside cover. I'd love to see Ike working a kayak.

This was hosted through an online tournament managing system called TourneyX.com. The Kayak Bass Fishing series (www.kayakbassfishing.com) is owned by Chad Hoover and that's who put on the event. They used TourneyX to track their catches and post updates on Facebook during the tournament.

I actually won a 4 day trip to Bienville with Chad at one of our local seminars. He's going a few times and I get to choose, Ike will be there again. Pretty stoked.

That's awesome man! They were talking after the matchup between him and Ike about how many big fish they saw down there. Couldn't even imagine being able to sneak up on a double digit in a kayak. I would be freaking out.

I have a trailer for my PA12. I have always used a bed extender for all my other yaks but at 125+ lbs I wouldnt do it any other way. I wouldnt even wanna be the guy helping him getting it off his lifted truck...
