    Need help with planing/livewell issue

I have a 17.5ft Skeeter and I've noticed that when I have a full live well that my boat has trouble planing. I would have thought this was a weight to power issue but when I first got this boat there were no such issues.
I will say that the boat does not have what I would consider a great live well system. Essentially it has an intake and an overflow.
The boat literally jumps onto plane when the live well hasn't been running.
Additionally, I've noticed when i engage throttle to plane out, a lot of times it will dog out and shut off (only if the livewells have been running)
Is my live well system letting water into places it shouldn't be, causing some type of fuel delivery issue or causing so much water to be in the bottom of my boat that it has issues planing.
I have noticed I can bilge quite a bit of water out of it throughout a day but I don't know if that's relatively normal or not.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Need to make sure you don't have a boat or livewell leak..
Has your current prop been damaged?
Has your boat always had this problem?
You may need to reprop for the load you normally carry...
Does your mota run perfectly if the boat is unloaded?

Motor runs great when unloaded. I wouldn't say damaged but it hasn't been reworked or anything so I'm sure it could use some work I've had it three years. Boat hasn't had problem in the past.
It's a 4 blade which I figured would help planing. I'm not positive on that though
