    250 SHO on Champion 201

Hi all, I am in the process of ordering a 250 SHO to repower my Champion 201. Any ideas on what prop to buy? Don't really have the resources to test multiple, so was looking to get some input and get as close as possible. Thanks for any input.

    I would look at a Bravo 1 fs 25p.

Hmmmm, seems most SHO's like the T1 non vented props. What did the dealership that's selling the motor recommend?

This might be a good question to ask in the Yamaha page.

That's a lot of motor to hang on an older boat. They had wood transoms up until 2000

I'm betting about $25K that if the transom is solid, a 201 can handle that motor.

Transom is in perfect shape. I will keep this boat forever if it will let me. My old motor was dyno'd at 240.
