    Paint coming off pro xs 250

    Has anyone else's paint come off on their silver/gray lower unit? mine is flaking off like crazy where it bolts on..that under warranty lol ? motor only has 20 hours or so on it..

    mine is rubbing off where the skegs makes contact in sand.... no flakes

    If the paint is flaking away without any evidence of the gearcase contacting something, have your local dealer document it and contact Mercury for assistance.
