    Anyone running a X19 with a SHO 175?

If so care to share your setup and what you think about the performance?

    Thanks

I just got one late last year .23 power tech prop 61 gps .Tried a 24 tempest ran 64 but was getting some prop slip lowered motor to
help 62 now .Going to buy another prop but can't make my mind up between tpx 0t4 or tpx 3 or fxp .The tempest has a weird transition when it goes on pad like it slips of and on till it gets up on pad .I wish Some running ot4 would give some
tips their setup .Im no speed nut but like one to perform good at all speeds

I purchased a X19 with a 175 SHO 2 weeks ago. I have only had it out on the lake 1 time. It handled like crap on the big end. I done some measuring and have found out my motor height is wrong. I have been at work for a week, have about 8 more days before I go on days off. I can't wait to get home and correct the motor height issue and go give it another try.

Raised my 175 1". 2 people, all our gear and tackle, live well full and rough water I saw 58mph on GPS but I had a lot of trim left in it I think. I expect 62-65 mph should be easily attainable, possibly more, with my set up with same load. Need better water to find out. But I noticed I cruise around 40mph most of the time anyways.

I was running a 175 VMAX on my 2015 X-19 with a 12" set back. I was running 63ish tournament load, solo I would avg 65 and top speed in perfect conditions was 68. I ran a 25M, 23 ot4, 23P tempest, 24P TRO4, 25 trophy, 24P TXP 3 blade, and few others. Best all around prop was the 25P trophy. The best P2P heights for me was 3.5" cruising and 2.5"ish @ WOT.

I you guys seriously think that 175 SHO has more than 5-10 hp more than the 150 SHO you're kidding yourself. You might get a couple mph more than a 150. Trying for any more is going to be a lot of prop changing for nothing.

Raised my motor another .25". I am now 3.25" PTP. I have a 6" manual plate and a FXP 23p prop. I hit 64.1 GPS before chine walk got to bad, wind was pushing me around. I also had full livewell. This was a personal best for me.

I have the same set up as you. At 64.1 mph what was your water pressure and rpm?

    Thanks

To be honest I dont remember rpm. Around 5800, I think. Trimmed up high and water pressure around 15-16psi.

Thanks. I bought my rig last July but had a loaner prop till last week because my 23 FXP was on back order. Now I'll start tuning it. First trip with new prop was 58 mph a 5200 rpm. I am 5" ptp so it looks like I have a bit of room to work with. Thanks again for the info.

You will enjoy it even more once you raise the plate. It handles so much better. I dont know why they put unmatched props and plates bottomed out on these boats.
