    SHO Tachometer question

Gonna post in Phoenix forum also. I have a 2015 250 SHO on a Phoenix 921. My tach has never read right since the boat was brand new. The dealer even put a new one in and it doesn't read right. It's always reading way more RPM then what the motor is running. So any ideas. Phoenix said something about some little switches on the back of the Tach but they wasn't sure which way to switch them for the SHO...any ideas. Thanks

The SHO has a 12 pole electrical generation system. Look at the back of the tachometer and see if there is a dial that can be set to the number 12 position. Also, if the tachometer has a two stroke or four stroke setting position it needs to be set to the four stroke position.
