    921 / SHO / Spacers Test

    Adding 2" spacers to 12" Bob's on 921/SHO
Want to see if there will be a difference.
Will let you know what happens.
Can always remove them if they work against me.

Not trying to correct anything. Just seeing if it ups the speed or performance.
I won't know if it's capable of more than it is (which is great), unless I try.
I'm after optimum performance with this set up. I may have had that the way it was, but maybe it can do better.
Like I said, I can easily remove them if needed.

I know you have a Verado, which is a different animal altogether, but what is your set back? Didn't you add to factory set up?

Ive seen a few instances where the SHO liked more setback. Dont forget to try it 1/4" higher p2p, I would run it where it currently is first, but I think you might get the full benefit of the extra setback if you raise the plate a bit

Hydro plate. Plan on trying different things, but will run as I'm used to at first. That's where I feel safest. Once I know how it feels, I will play with it to see what it may, or may not do.

Yeah...I have a 12" plate. I also have the motor mounted on the highest hole.

When I got the boat, it wanted to run the best at 20 on Atlas, which leaves me no room and I felt it wanted more. Moved it up one hole, and still gained going up to 20. Moved it to that last hole and now can run about 16/17 for great performance. I can run it at 20, but not exactly sure where my WP goes, but I have no need to.

With the big Bravo I can touch 78 with it and literally no walk, one handed driving. I can run loaded with 2 at 74/75 with a 26.5 Bravo all day long.

With that SHO, I would look a the FXP prop...very similar to Bravo. That boat will be on rails, quick out of the hole and carry better than a 3 blade. Far less steering torque in that 4 blade.
