notice a little loss in rpm. 200 opti.

I have notice that I'm not running has many RPM'S has past winters. normally with a 25 P tempest, I could only run 68.6 before hitting the rev. limiter. Now I can run 69.8 and don't hit the limiter. I normally run a 27 P tempest in the winter to keep from hitting the limiter. RPM gage has got to be off, at 69 GPS its reading 5300. Boat weight is the same or lighter. Thanks

Are the RPM readings coming from a Smartcraft instrument?

You will then need to verify that your tachometer is accurate.

+1... likely a problem with the Tach.
