Im pretty sure theyre on bullet boats from the factory and have been a loooong time. Id also venture to say 99% or more of the bullets on the water have them on there. Thats a buuuunch of times for pretty smart guys to figure out if theyre wrong. Sooo id say the post that says theyre wrong is actually the one in the wrong not the jackplate. Haters gonna hate.

Can't go wrong with hydrodynamics. Their plate are about the best designed and easiest to operate manual plates built and their customer service is excellent. I have their 8" extension with a detwiler on the back. Their plates seem to be custom made to fit a bullet.

When I called HD several Mos ago about my plate Steve told me that through the years the rear plate has been changed! All the newer design is drilled to have some negative trim added plus a bracing crossbar added to the top. The plates that bolt to the boat are the same!

Steve would be the one to ask for sure but I think they make the ones for bullets and Allison's with a different angle than for say a triton.

Have to make sure you have the right one. Easiest thing to do is call them tell them what you have and they will sell you what you need !!

Helps stay on plane at a lower speed without porposing and on some setups helps holeshot. I seldom run mine all the way in!
