    Talon Universal Bracket New vs Old

    I am looking to purchase my 12' Talons soon and I want to be sure I get the right bracket. I have a slidemaster manual jackplate and I was looking at the Universal Modular Adapter bracket. The old model # is 1810300 and the newer model is 1810340. These look identical in pictures yet I can get the older model for about $100 less. Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between the two? Was there some kind of defect I don't know about? Thanks in advance everyone. Tight lines.

    I recently installed a second talon and had to buy a new bracket. Could not find the old model so I had to buy The newer model. Now I have 1 old model and 1 new model. Slightly different where they mount to the jackplat but otherwise the same as best I can tell.
