Today the water temp was 48 at the ramp and the warmest I saw was 57. It sucked for me as I only caught 3 little ones. Cold side was 46-48 as well. Bass world sports for me at Newton tomorrow so I better pull something out of my butt or I'm going to get my butt kicked hahaha.
we all got our butt kicked today. it is sad when only 2 fish wins a tournament.
Temps are up now. I was there fri, sat, and sun. Fishing sucked for me all 3 days. 8-12 short fish everyday and my dad caught 1 keeper Saturday. Today it was 53 at the ramp and most of the main hot arm is 55-56 and up the hot arm is 57-59. Didn't go to the cold side today but Saturday it was 46-48 and the backs of a couple coves had 50.
Anybody out on Newton lately? Any report on conditions? I plan on rolling through next week and am considering stopping. Any info is appreciated.

Cold side was 47-49, only fished the warm side for a few hours before we realized it was worthless. Don't let the temps intimidate you. We absolutely smoked them last weekend and all were in the cold. Biggest was 6.6, wads of 4-5lbers. Countless 2.5-3! Love that place this time of year.Screenshot_20170319-192603.jpg
