    2003 Johnson 175 carbed ???

    J175 & don't remember the rest. lol When running down lake at wot & turning 5500 rpm for a while sounds like a cylinder drops( does not miss though) out & rpm drop to between 51 & 5200 & speed drops by 5 mph. I can let off of throttle a minute & them open it back up & right back to 5500 with normal top speed. After a little bit the whole process happens again. What could this be? Thanks

    No alarms? Can you replicate it on command? May be a power pack could be the EET (eye).

    Fred, yes i can do it over & over. No alarms whatsoever. It however only does it at full wot trimmed pretty high. If not completely wot it never happens at all. Thought about changing plugs & trying it since timewise it's been a while. Not hours wise though.
