Soak the corn in room temperature water with the husk on for a few hours. Leave the husk on and then put the corn on the grill with medium 325 - 350 temp still with the husk on. Rotate the corn frequently. The corn will "steam" inside the husk..and then start to show signs of golden brown at the end where you will open it from and also show signs of the husk burning to almost a dark brown. This usually takes about 15 minutes to cook...on my egg...if it is burning too quickly...set it aside off of the direct fire while cooking it. Remove the corn and dehusk, add butter, salt, and pepper.....Enjoy!
Some times i wrap mine in alum. foil with butter and then take it out of the foil for the last few minutes to get the char on it. Adds great smokey flavor
I brush with butter, chili powder and lime. Grill with no husk to get a char on the outside. Comes out great every time.
Boatless Bank Trash for now
Grill with husk and silk still on. It won't scorch and will be very moist.
I've done all those, but I always over cook it. How long??
9 to 12 mins after husk have been soaked in water. The smoker is the way to go.
I let soak a few minutes in cold water and rip out the silk and maybe a few leaves. I wrap lightly in aluminum foil with ends open and grill a few minutes turning maybe 4/5 times. I think this steams the corn inside. When you buy fresh corn in Spring or Summer >>You must grill first or second day after it has been picked for great results. I heard corn loses 10% of it sweetness every day after being picked.
too much trouble for me microwave peel, eat drink beer,
Just throw them on the grill. I'm lucky though, my in laws are farmers.
It's been colder then a witch T** in January here lately. So today we had corn on the cob in the microwave AGAIN and it was excellent AGAIN......only problem is I can't tell the wife it's not done yet while I have another adult beverage..............anyone know how to disconnect that damn bell on the microwave. . .. .. ... :)
I'm with OH Ranger, just throw them on the grill. No need the extra stuff

I just toss my husked corn on the my Big green egg- plain, no soak, no husk. Turn as color of corn begins to brown. On occasion I brush it with a picture of melted butter, line juice and any favorite spice mix. I use Dizzy Pig products specifically Swamp Venom or Fajita-ish.
People love the corn
