Hey guys, I seem to always buy my uncle's hand-me-down boats. He has a 2012 or 13 (he doesn't know the year) Z8 with a 250 merc pro xs. He just added a hds 12 and hds 9 last year as the major updates. What would be a fair price for this boat? It is in great condition. The reason I usually buy from him is he rarely uses his boats and never fishes tourneys.

Ive looked at both, just curious of opinions on here
Not quite comparing apples to apples but I just bought a 2012 Z9 with a 250proxs, 101 fortrex, HB 998 and 1198 for 27k. Engine had 342 hrs, compression 125 on 4 cylinders and 124 on other 2. Price is relative. Took me 3 months of relentless searching to find something in that price range I was looking for. Several people out there that throw out a premium for much older boats with many more hours. Their boat, their business though.

Wow, thats a great deal on your Z9. I agree around 30k. Seems like they range from 27 to 33 based on options
And all thanks to BBC. I took a day off work and drove 6 hrs north to buy it. Really pleased with it so far. That price range you mentioned is just about spot on from my recent experience.Originally Posted by bigmarley

I bought my 2012 z8 225 for $26.5 two years ago. It didn't have upgraded graphs or trolling motor. Only had 98hrs on the motor. Prices will vary depending on options like others have stated. It now has HDS 12/9, X5 and AGM's. I would list it today in the low 30k range.
