Ya don't want to be the center of attention at the boat ramp.

I'm curious what the type of material Gatorbac is made of compared to Caliber?? I'm in the market for something like this, I'm going to do some research.

Talked to them direct. Fine for typical bass boat applications. Not recommended for the large boats. The disclaimer keeps them from having to answer 1000 "can I use this" questions.

Retail product box says no fiberglass boats. Calber Video only shows aluminum hulls pontoons/canoes being loaded. One can only go off what the OEM says it's for in print. Verbal doesn't get you much. Already one guy on BBC that still put it on his trailer after being made aware it wasn't for a fiberglass boat and had to get the hull repaired shortly after. To each his own.

I have zero issues. Not once did I disagree with what was in print. Simply explaining my experience with the company and product.

I took my Sterling to Gatorbak dealer in Cincinati and he installed new pressure treated bunks and all new hardware along with gatorbak for about $350 two years ago and I have had no problems. Did it while I watched and waited.
