That is great, but am I reading right that they are starting at $5.99? Sorta aggressively priced for a blank.

    Oh... wait... Cabela's. Duh.

Yes but they are a strike king bait with no paint, looks like a unpainted blank for the same price as painted ones.

I doubt they wanted to pass any savings on. Probably just offered them so people wanting an authentic SK or Spro blank to have access to them for custom colors. Beats buying painted versions and stripping them.

Too expensive for me. These clear baits are not meant to be painted, they have been clear coated and are for use as is. I have several people order clear baits from my custom bait page. They are very popular in clear water lakes. Bull Shoals, Arkansas fisherman are my most frequent buyers. I keep a collection of clear baits in my bait boxes, but I rarely fish them in KY 's dead sea lakes other than in the fall when the shad start moving into the creeks.

Every " oem " blank i have ever found, their price was same as painted
versions. However as gentleman mentioned earlier better than stripping
    paint as not real fun!

You still have to get through the clear coat that they put on the bait.
