I can get the basscat carpet, i've done other bassboats, it's just the edges tuck under the topcap on most other brands, the ally needs the edges surged right ?

Allison designs their lids to open freely with 14oz. carpet. You use a heavier/deeper pile carpet, the lids may bind.............

Tks. Yep the difference between 14&18 ain't bad,nuthing a beard trimmer won't handle.

I wonder how kiwi grip would look ? I put it on my center console one time, great stuff, can be tinted color, it's around $250/gal

Basscat carpet is 24 oz. and it cannot be serged by Allison.
