Panoptix Live Forward Direction Icon

So I was talking with Garmin today about the PS21 and PS31 again. I was reading one website (of course I cant find it now) that showed a PS21 live forward view that had a small boat icon in the
top right corner that had a panoptix BEAM like coverage off the bow showing which direction your panoptix was facing relative to the boat.
I really like this option but never seen it on a PS31 live forward view.
They had no idea what I am talking about, has anyone else seen this and can you enable this view on either of these 2 units?

I guess its only a view on the live forward 3D

I believe that icon shows up when you have AHRS setting on, and the compass is calibrated (on the ps21 at least).
I think this feature may only be available on the 7600's.

It shows a "beam" in the direction the TM/transducer is pointing.

Man, for what their asking for a panoptix transducer every unit should have it.

Correct. The triangular view cone (magnetic compass) is only available with the PS21.

Seems odd that they wouldnt have that on the more expensive models. Makes me wonder if they were thinking the PS31 would only be used on the transom?

I was sort of thinking the same thing Larry, maybe the PS31 originally was Transom only then they added the forward mount.
