    Prop work

I've been reading on the 80 mph 202. Got a question. 1996 with 200 mariner and 25 pitch tempest. What's a good set up and who does good prop work for champs. Prop has some dings. I put a slick plate last fall. Thanks ahead of time. Jeff

Quick amendment. Prop is 3.5 below pad. Runs around 62. Not looking for 80 just efficiency. Thanks again. Jeff

You should be able to get 66-67. I've used Steve's Custom Props and Mark Croxton.

What size plate? That may help those who know more than me to give a more accurate answer.
For props, I use Croxton, but heard Josh is good too. Whoever's closest, may save you shipping $.

Can't go wrong with either Steve's or Croxton and personally wouldn't look any further than those two.

A 25M Yamaha is a tad better than the Tempest. I have both and prefer the Yammi. 3.5 under the pad is my sweet spot and it'll run ya mid 60's loaded ready to fish year round. Currently running the Tempest cause I hit a stump at the TOC last year and need to get my 25m worked. Mark does amazing prop work and should get ya 2-3 MPH fasters than a stock prop.

Why not just remove and do your own premixing . Sleep much better at night.
