I hate to admit it (because I have a Helix 10 SI gen1) but that's damn impressive images!

does the helix 10 g2 have same power cords as the g1 10, and is the transducer the only thing you have to change

Old lock and dam, possible car, heavy current was not able to make the return as clear as I would like, the helix will pick up the turbulence in the current.

So give me your honest opinion - the images look great but do they look that great from a distance while on the boat?
Are you now finding yourself zooming in on images way more than you used to?
Also - does 40-50 feet out seem to be the limit on SI?

I rarely zoomed with the core/gen 1 helix because it distorted the image but with the gen 2 the sonar is now digital so you can zoom in for more detail not that I have to.
