Has anyone experienced any improvement with the foil in rough water? Reason I ask, there are times when I have to go faster than I would prefer to get on top of waves. Also in bigger chop(3-4 footers) has the foil helped with boat control?

Getting ready to order. Deciding on what finish I want. I have a merc 250 with the grey Torquemaster II lower unit. Black powder coated would match the upper motor. Brushed SS probably close to lower unit color and mirrored matched prop but will stand out. Curious which you guys with the TMII lower unit loike the best.
I just got mine installed and I went with the mirror finish with blue
inserts that say Ranger on one side and Mercury on the other. Installed
in about 20 minutes I did have to take the prop off to drill holes straight.
I’m looking forward to getting boat on the water to try out. First rate
fit and finish. Thanks Chris
Curious to hear your report re result and how the foil helps
I was able to get the boat in the water 520c and run it with the foil.
Me 3/4 fuel it helped a bunch. Hole shot was 2-3 seconds and on plane
as before it seemed like it plowed too long. I’m very happy with it.
I'll be running my 1990 Ranger 374V with the new talon I just added this week and will see if it doesn't perform like before will be considering a foil and it will be one of Chris if need be

I can officially confirm these things work! Put it on my 07 Z21 and I can now run under 30 without bouncing all over the place. Holeshot was improved as well. Great product and Chris was easy to work with!

I just ordered my foil yesterday from Chris (yes he works on Sunday) for my 1999 Ranger R73 sport with a Johnson 115, I know not lot of HP , but she runs Great with the 6 inch jackplate tempest 23 prop (53 mph on GPS) Can't wait to see what this difference this foil will make.. Will keep all posted...
