    Chico

Partner and I are gonna try and fish the river side of the Media Bass. Of course the first tourney is this Saturday on Chico. I have never been on the lake in my life and my partner says he has once about 20 years ago. My question is; is it safe to run the lake most everywhere? Anything in particular I need to be aware of for safety. We're not gonna get to pre fish so we will be hitting the water in the blind saturday morning. Will also take any and all inside info

I have never been there myself but my other club is going this weekend also. What ramp is Media using? I hear that there will be at least four tourneys going on that day.

OK that is the ramp on the north end by the spillway. We are using the ramp in Ditch Bayou which is on the south end.

Spillway..didn't know it had one. Phoenix...doubt I'll be going anywhere in a hurry being that I've never seen the lake other than maybe driving by it years ago.

All I can say is you better hold the f%#? on. Dwoodfin you can run the whole lake it's a typical oxbow. Just like a bowl. The far north and south ends get shallow and it will be obvious where you need to get off plane and idle but this lake is pretty big. Come introduce yourself if you get a chance I'll be in the dark Basscat with a clown for a partner.

Connerly is where we are taking off from. It's by the causeway where the big and little lake meet. Towards the north end. Probably 5 more miles up the lake from ditch bayou

My partner started off throwing a bait of a color I can't speak of and I looked at him like he was stupid. After he had caught three and me none, I went to searching deeeeeep in my boat to try and find something similar!
