    Stamps on prop

    I have a prop that is new to me I was told it was worked it has stampings of 4 numbers on it. do these numbers have meaning

    Sort of. The numbers are an ID number. If you can find who did the work they might can tell you what was done but some prop guys need the name of the former owner too.

    They could tell you what was done to it but more likely just the prop guys index number. Like Rip said you need the name guy who had the work done and the name of who did the work.
