We are happy to announce that Shimano is releasing the TRANX in an all new platform. Incorporated into the TRANX is the X-Ship technology making this reel as smooth as they come. Retrieve is just silky smooth. You'll notice right away. This bad boy is built on a HAGANE body chassis and that means efficiency through frame strength. The combination of the two together means, the TRANX is the reel you need when you need serious cranking power to fight big fish and throw big rigs. We've only seen the 400 in person, but the 300 and 400 size will be the same frame size. The photos below are a 400 TRANX and also a 300 CURADO E for size comparison.
