    Repair or b&b?

I'm going to be sending my 25 t1 to mark within the next couple weeks. I got into a rock this spring trying to outrun a storm. It's not too bad but has a 1" section of one blade that is folded back, plus some other smaller dings. I got the prop used but in good shape. Do I just need to get it repaired, or would a b&b benefit me any? I have never had either done, so I'm a little hazy on the difference. I'm assuming the b&b just puts it back to the factory specs? Thanks.

I would have it B&B'd if it were me. B&B puts it back to factory specs, but it also balances the prop and gets all the blades exactly the same. A factory new prop is not balanced, and never has all three blades the same pitch.

If you look on Marks FAQ page you will find the difference between a repair and balance and blue print...if you just want your prop put back into factory specs get a repair...if you want every ounce of performance you can get out of it then get a balance and blueprint.

Thanks. I looked before I posted on his website and somehow missed that...sorry! I checked his faq post on here but not website apparently. I'd say a repair would do the trick for me, as most local lakes I don't get to run the outboard much anyway. Thanks for the help!

Just go for the repair that puts it back to factory spec better than new.

Where can I find this info. his webpage? when I look at the faq at the top of this page its unclear to me what does what.
even this thread disagrees if factory specs are thru repair or must be blueprinted to get factory specs.
