Does anyone out there use the fenders when tying up your boat to protect from damage? They are sold on the Phoenix apparel site and I'd like to buy two if they work. Please let me know and thanks.

I was going to buy those but decided to just get some regular style ones that keep the boat an inch or three away from the dock. For the price I figured those Phoenix ones weren't any better then the tube style for $15 at walmart

Buy the regular ones they let the boat get to close for my comfort
I use them and like them. Probably used them a dozen times and they seem to work. Granted, I don't leave the boat tied to the dock for more than 10-15 minutes. I carry a couple thinner traditional ones too. Depending on the dock, I may need to use those too.
