    yep, I hit a 4' barge wake at a 45 degree angle. Never saw it till too late. Same results. Boat came totally out of water and bow hooked when it splashed down. It was ugly. Those guys faired lots better than I did. RR

    I've bow hooked in my old Triton Tr 21 and never had this experience but it made me clean my shorts afterwards but I do know a guy who's boat was rigged with the motor too low on the transom and when running up a canal the hydraulic line hit the transom and broke when trimming up and he and a partner were ejected when the boat hooked hard right and went up the rock levee, both ok.
